The Power Of Fanbox

I was asked to join this little site Fanbox.com some years ago. I just cannot recall by whom now. At that time I was new to the Internet and found myself hooked by the prospect of earning money online. I read every possible piece of free advice (I couldn't find the cash then) that I could get my hands on and visited every website that offered information on the topic. I was even experimenting with a free website builder trying to promote Clickbank products. Nothing worked because I did not know enough about SEO, Traffic, HTML and so on.

However, soon after I started, the social media explosion occurred, with Facebook and Twitter taking the world by storm; so again I read everything about Social Media Marketing and Article marketing in generating traffic. I was even able to fund a basic website. Did I earn dollars? No! I did not give up my dream of earning online, however, and kept experimenting.

Having totally forgotten about Fanbox, someone invited me to some Beta Launch and I remember going on the site and doing some things. When I went on earlier I tried my best to invite friends and complete the tasks boxes that you were asked to complete. (don't remember how far I got)

Some time ago I published an article on "The Internet marketing Shift" in which I basically tried to show how the impact of the Google Slap has led new ways of trying to create Internet marketing opportunities.I also warned against the validity of some of these new 'video' claims. The power of Facebook and Twitter!

I must tell you this story. When Twitter started, with a basic design and just the little bird, someone sent me an invite and I signed up. Of course, I thought it was just one of those new fad going nowhere so I did not follow up.
Amazingly, in months I realized that it was becoming the new fad, so I tried to get back to log in. Guess what? I could not remember my password and could not find it written down any where so I had to request a new one. Since then I grew from a meager maybe 10 or so followers to currently over 1300.

What is my point? Along with Facebook, which I also joined in its infancy, these are the the two most formidable sources of socializing online with the capacity to make friends who can later become customers for your online offers.
Much has been written about using these two social media and there is a plethora of tools being sold on how to utilize them for profit. By all means, as a newcomer, you may want to purchase some of these tools, but be reminded also that there is a host of free information available. Search for them and use them wisely. If you haven't joined either of these sites as yet, go do so now!

Finally, do not start socializing on these sites and immediately bombard your followers or friends with links for them to buy something; this will automatically happen in the exchanges as you socialize. Videos, Scoops, Gurus and tricksters

In a recent ezinearticles.com post I commented on how the Internet was getting a new face with the advent of Video Marketing but warned against the use of this media to promote lies and trick helpless newcomers to Internet marketing. Well, I can always rely on my inbox to feed me with the latest hogwash.

So,what has been happening since my latest post? I have been given a daily dose of so-called: "watch this free video." Honestly, I am skeptical of anything that says free but for the most part, I do watch them through in order to assess the content. Apart from making a lot of claims about how they have stolen the Gurus secrets and how they have been lucky to be invited to exclusive Internet marketing millionaires meetings; they all end on the same note: The presenter has perfected a software that can make money like clockwork without product, website, CPA, PPC and the usual mix of Internet marketing SEO tactics. The presenter wants to get back at the Gurus for fleecing them out of their hard- earned dollars, so they are selling this software for a minimal charge of say 47 or 49 dollars.

This had me thinking that, if  I have discovered a software that can land millions of dollars in my Clickbank or Paypal account in days, and it works twenty four seven, then I am doing one of two things. I am either keeping it so tight against my chest that I can hardly breathe, or since there is no competition against me making big bucks, then I could give it away for free! I would have absolutely no need to be asking someone to listen to me expound the value of this software on twenty to thirty minutes of their precious time, then beg and beseech them in the end not to give up this opportunity for a measly 47 or 49 dollars. Frankly, I would not need anyone's 47 or 49 dollars.

Therefore, my honest conclusion must be that it is another in a set of desperate bid to nullify the effects that the Google Slap has placed on their capacity to full their pockets from unsuspecting prospects. Take heed, newcomers, if the Video sounds and looks too good to be true, it probably is not true. In a nutshell, filter everything that you are presented with the finest sieve possible, and even then, do not trust the filtrate!  For a product and a website that can really bulge your wallet check out this opportunity!

Recently I signed up for the free level of the Zeek Rewards Program and I was amazed at what is offered in this system. I would easily rate it the best free online earning opportunity I have come across and I have been messing around with online marketing for the past six years. The Internet marketing shift

I’ll have to confess! I got somewhat fed up with all the online marketing hype and the Guru underhand tactics employed to fleece innocent newbies out of millions of dollars. I left the playing field for a while and pursued my day job with the same intensity as I was giving to internet marketing. And, has it paid off-no! So, I am back to discover that two things have forced a significant shift in the internet marketing world. I have always felt that the internet is cumulative, tentative and self-correcting, and so it is!

It is amazing how severe circumstances can force new situations. I went out on the verge of the “Google slap” and the eve of the recession. Both phenomena seem to have descended on us according to an ordered plan. Check this out-official start of the recession- December 2007, and, beginning of the “Google slap” 2008-coincidence or providence?

 So the Gurus and “Net cheats” found their cheeky little replicated websites falling to the dust. Hooray Google, time for a change! What a timely natural protection to the hard earned dollars of simple web folks like myself and other “Triers” and “Newcomers.”

Anyway, enough digression, I was talking about the internet marketing shift. So I returned to find my mailboxes and my social sites communications filled to the brim with new offers couched and packaged in a new way:

 Internet marketing shift number one: while former offers used to stress how to maximize your website through Pay per click, Google Adwords, Search engine organization, Article marketing, social media marketing and the regular run of the mill solution, they were now all asking me to make money without using any of these-what a turnaround! This is what you call forced innovation! I used to hate that entire web tweaking crap anyway. I always thought there were easier and better ways to maximize internet marketing and I still do. Now the Gurus are telling us to ignore everything that they usually chuck down our throats-what a laugh on them!

Internet marketing shift number two:  formerly the gurus would bore me to death with sales letter and testimonials so long that I would quickly scroll down to the bottom of the offer, check out the asking price and be on my merry way. I always thought only insane individuals would read through all that junk!  Tell me the truth about your product and I will prove it when I purchase. Come on this is the internet! Anyone can get any number of glowing testimonials, and with current day technology, anyone can display accounts with six figures or more! But I digress again. This time I was not only presented with web tweaking alternatives but I was looking at a presenter through video and therefore had a connection to a real person. Hooray to Video Marketing. Even if the hype and the slick sales talk remains, at least you see who is doing it-welcome change indeed, and at least I listen all the way.

The question is, however, how  have these two new innovations made the internet more tolerable to common web folk? I would say a lot. If you sift through the junk, you can , in fact find good offers presented through videos and suggesting useful alternatives to the old ‘web tweaking’ solutions. Now that you can look at a person, he or she cannot sell you junk and get away with it that easily. I still find some videos though, a little excessive in harping on how they have found the solution to making loads of money without SEO, PPC, Google Adwords, Social media marketing etc., and some a little too melodramatic.

 Let us keep it real friends, and offer true, valuable and cost efficient alternatives. Do remember, that this super highway will constantly correct itself. See you on the inside!

What's in a domain name? Well, everything. It is the guide to your website and the major constituent of your URL- Uniform Resource Locator. That is www.yourdomainname.com. A domain name is like a photograph. That is how people find you. So, how should you select a "good" domain name? I will outline five important points to consider in your selection. They are: Length, Appearance, Accessibility, Relevance and Appeal.
Length is of vital importance in selecting a domain name. Very long winding names are difficult to remember and unattractive to those who view them. For example, if your site deals with dog food products, you would not want to have a domain name like: Mr Brown's best dog food site for all those who are tired of poor dog food.com. You would like instead to include something unique about your site, but short and to the point. for example, Thebestdogfood.com, or Justplaindogfood.com, or getbestdogfood.com. Length is important also because if someone needs to place your link in their browser, they do not want to be typing all this long winded information.

I am referring, of course, to the recent wave of Internet marketing offers to the so-called "Newbies" Did you know that approximately two thousand people come to the internet each week, seeking to create wealth? So, let us examine some of these trends as they relate to the newcomers.
A search of the Yahoo and Google search engines was done using two search titles. Here are the results: For the title newcomers to internet marketing Yahoo shows 5,690,000 listings and Google shows 190,000 listings. For the title internet marketing for newbies Yahoo shows 14,000,000,listings while Google shows 604,000 listings. In this mix a fairly significant number cater to free programs and tools.

Your marketplace would be other people that are interested in rose gardening. I don’t know much about rose gardening, so I don’t specifically know what that would be.
Then you go find the people who have traffic with people coming in looking to buy roses, information about how to care for their roses, what roses to plant, where to plant them, how to trim them, how to cut them, and all that cool stuff that people do.
You then go to those people who are driving in traffic and acquiring subscribers. You say to them, ‘Listen, I’ve got this information that is of value to your visitors. In turn, you get a little good will, good karma, some subscribers, and potentially customers. Obviously, you don’t need to tell them this. This is just something for them to figure out. They’re distributing your product that leads them back to your website so that they might buy from you. This doesn’t hurt them at all because you’re not competing with them directly.
Using this method, we piggyback on that related market because we provide the information, while they provide the product.”
